For more than three decades, Terry Waldrop has led, coached, taught, and analyzed college athletics from virtually every seat in the arena—from the bench and athletic department to executive leadership and national media.

A National Championship basketball coach and Hall of Fame inductee, Terry has served as an NCAA Division I coach, athletic administrator, compliance director, professor, and executive leader.

His career has extended beyond athletics into healthcare administration, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer of behavioral health hospitals, leading complex organizations through growth, regulatory compliance, and operational transformation.

Today, Terry combines that experience with decades behind the microphone as host of The Edge on Sportstalk 97.7 FM. His analysis goes beyond scores and headlines to explain the decisions, leadership, culture, governance, NIL, conference realignment, and business forces shaping modern college athletics.
